英語で'モルヒネ'をどう言うのですか

The stories of my adventures (and no doubt disasters) as I take on the mantle of a English teacher with a large, undisclosed company somewhere in the savage wilderness that is Japan

One year in Japan!

It's typhoon season, and it's raining pretty heavily outside. I woke up early today to go to the gym, but I don't think I'll be able to make it with four bags and a bike with no bike chain :-(

I have now been in Japan for more than one year. So, what do I think of these collection of islands of the coast of Asia? I'm still having a tremendous amount of fun. It doesn't seem like a year, only a few months at most. There are still a lot of things to do in my home prefecture- only this weekend I found a new beautiful temple as well as a Catholic monestary in Tajimi.

Anywho, these are some of my higlights for the past year:

The first time I evert seriously did karaoke after my first week training.
Wathcing fireworks at Nagoya Port for Christmas Eve
Going skiing in Hakuba, Nagano
My all night party with my mates in Osaka
A trip out into the mountains for a relaxing stay at the YuYa Onsen
Traveling to Miyajima and Hiroshima with Ben and Emma
My triumphant return to the Inter tubes.
Returning to Australia (however briefly) for a week
My birthday at the Outback Steakhouse
My anniversary dinner with Tsuna at Midland Sqaure

One year down, so here's to another good one :-)
